Our Place – Studio & Gallery by Samala Ghosh

Located on the corner of Strickland Street and South Coast Highway in Denmark, Our Place is a vibrant studio and gallery run by visual artist Samala Ghosh. The space celebrates creativity, upcycling, and the joy of making, offering a unique collection of woven rugs, paintings, cards, sculptures, and handcrafted artworks. Samala has received regional recognition for her work, including a Regional Arts WA grant in 2020, the DADA Women at Their Best Art Award in 2009, and commissions for the Denmark Arts Council. She has held successful solo exhibitions, exhibited widely across Western Australia, and regularly leases her work to professional offices. Our Place is more than a gallery; it’s a welcoming, inspiring space where visitors can meet the artist, explore her creations, and discover one-of-a-kind, ethically made artworks.
