In late 2018, Jonathan Hook opened the doors to his new architecturally designed studio and gallery space. With sweeping views across the Scotsdale and Denmark valleys to Mount Lindesay, the beautiful building includes a gallery showcasing the full range of Jonathan Hook ceramics, along with Jonathan’s working studio. Jonathan’s interest in clay began in 1972, at the age of 17. After studying at Perth Technical College, he moved to Denmark in Western Australia’s Great Southern in 1976, and embarked on a journey to develop his own style and practice in the isolated region, inspired by the ancient majesty and grandeur of the south coast landscape. Jonathan’s work is focused on three predominant areas: Tableware - Elegant and timeless. Vases and decorative urns - translates ancient urns and vessels into a contemporary context. Ceramic artworks (the “Art Series”) The only place to purchase Jonathan Hook ceramics is directly from the studio in Denmark, Western Australia. Monday to Friday: 10am to 5pm Saturday & Sunday: 12pm to 4pm
