Gourmet Oyster Mushrooms from Denmark WA
We offer mixed colours and varieties of fresh gourmet oyster mushrooms, all lovingly grown in Denmark, and delivered to your door for a small fee. Oyster mushrooms are a super food that has been used in Chinese traditional medicine for centuries. Our protein and fibre rich mushrooms are packed full of beneficial vitamins and minerals and are both delicious and nutritious. We grow our mushrooms with fresh UV filtered rainwater, fresh air and sunlight and our new packaging keeps your mushrooms nice and fresh and is 100% home compostable. At Amara Mushrooms we are passionate about producing food which benefits community, economy and environment. The Denmark Health Shop stocks a good range of seasonal organic fresh vegetables and fruit. They also have honey, nuts, seeds, cheeses, oils, dry, tinned goods, teas, health care, body care, make up, natural remedies plus more.
Pawprint Chocolate on Hollings Road has a flavour for everyone. Australian-made chocolate as a base and prepares, roasts, toasts, slices and dices fresh and preserved products to make the unique flavour selection. Other delights include gift packs and culinary treats such as relish, dukkah, muffin and brownie mixes.
Valley of the Giants Olives and Wines is located on a hillside with views over the Walpole Wilderness National Park. Wine, olive oil, olives and soap. Come and spend some time in this beutiful place with the very friendly hosts.
Enjoy honey icecream and delicious mead at Bartholomews Meadery. A lovely selection of Bee wares including gifts, honey, remedies, candles, skincare, toys, books, chocolate, mead and liqueur on sale! It is one of the few meaderies in Australia. While you are there you can watch the bees at work, in a glass hive... try and spot the Queen. This is fascinating for visitors of all ages.
The Good Food Factory sells a range of delicious toffees, nut brittles, gourmet sauces, chutneys, preserves, salsas, tapenades, dressings & olives. It has a wooden house and grass area out the front for the children and boasts 'Denmark's Biggest Cone'! Set on a charming rural property in William Bay you can easily spend a while here with lots of samples to tempt! Elephant Rock Cider.
At Wholly Local you will find locally farmed, produced and crafted fresh, prepared and packaged foods. There is a lovely selection of handmade local gifts, home wares, clothes, jewellery, hair and beauty products plus more. Pick and pack your own picnic from local cheese, smoked fish and meats, crackers and chutneys. Take home prepared dinners and lunches. Order and have delivered breakfast and dinner hampers.

The Green Pantry, one of our local favourites is take away only at the moment in support of PRO CHOICE Denmark. Sometimes live musicians perform outside and it is a central point with great drinks and snacks.
Mrs Jones is a popular relaxed cafe set within the Old Butter Factory. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a friendly environment and varied menu. Check out the delicious natural ice pops on sale too! Next-door is the Butter factory Studios, featuring ten artists working in a variety of media. Browse through the Art Gallery, gift shop and studios while your food is prepared.
Coastal cuisine
The laid back vibe of this small southern town can be enjoyed through the culinary experiences it offers. Denmark is filled with talented artisans, you can purchase their produce from local stores and online!
There is a good mix of indoor and alfresco dining. Many of the Wineries within the Denmark Wine Region have Restaurants alongside their Cellar Door.
Healthy, local, delicious
Stock up with a supply of fresh local vegetables, including organic and spray free and local produce, like honey, relish, cheese and a wide variety of excellent health related products at the Denmark Health Shop. Although at its most busy during school holidays, Denmark has lots of food choices for visitors and locals year round.
By the riverside
Ravens, down by the river has a great range of food, cookies, slices and juices. They also sell coffee, tea, produce and gifts. You can dine on the verandah, indoors or take away. Berridge Park and the Denmark River is opposite so you can dine across from the River's edge.
Tea House Books, opposite the riverbank, on the Gazebo side, is a great book store which also stocks a unique and clever range of gifts and toys! Have a coffee and cake whilst browsing the books, what a clever and inspiring blend! This is a family run business, like most in Denmark and it is an experience not to be missed. At Tea House Books they feature local products and offer an intimate book buying experience. Children will love it too!

Another local favourite, serving delicious food with great service, indoor and outdoor seating is the The Denmark Gelato Co & Pasta Bar, next door to The Bibbulmun Cafe, serves locally roasted Stash coffee and a wide range of Elmstock teas, delicious waffles and other mouth watering treats! Indulge in the most tasty pies, pastries and cakes from the National Award Winning Denmark Bakery in Fig Tree Square with The Bakery Cafe adjoining, where you can sit inside or outdoors on the deck and enjoy the same delicious bakery food plus more!
